Japanese Comments

I have had useful comments, comments with spam, and finally comments which I don’t comprehend. Check this out, a Japanese comment to my post Clear Archive Plugin:

と言うのは、検索エンジン最適化を指す、時にSEO最適化SEO対策とも言います、SEOは英文Search Engine Optimizationの略語で、日本語で言うのはセオ、喩えにすれば人は目でサイトのデザイン性やコンテンツの良さを確認としたら、SEOはソースコードの最適化や外部及び内部の手段で検索エンジンを馴染むように修正して上位を目指す一連の施策っていうこと。

The only thing I understand, is SEO, Search Engine Optimization and nothing else! What do you do with comments of this type? I guess I should write the person an email and ask him what it says. Anyway, I went to his page www.seozone.jp to check it out. It is a bit hard to tell, but my best guess is that this is some sort of Japanese directory of SEO blogs. I am not sure, but it looks like it. So I guess I am listed there, somewhere. Obviously this is not something which I want to complain about, since I would be pleased to get some Asian visitors to my blog. I have no idea how I got listed there but one thing is sure. I didn’t do it. If there is anyone out there who can help me translate this stuff, feel free to drop a comment (And please do so in English or a Scandinavian langue:)

oh wow. basically what he was trying to say was, SEO, which is also called SEO Optimize or SEO Measure, is a type of search that aims to be the best optimized search engine. It stands for Search Engine Optimization, and is pronounced “seh-o” in japanese. while a person judges a site’s design and worth of its contents by his eyes, the SEO bases its judging on the site’s source code. and erm… something like it lets the engine rank sites based on how good the source codes are built on.

i took a look at the comment but i have no idea what it has to do with your post on clear archive plugin.

    Hi Gilda,
Thank you for helping me out here. So I guess it is spam after all, in a new way.
