How to search RapidShare

Rapid Share is a great page for sharing large files. They offer a free option as well as a paid one. Obviously, you are better off with the paid option. As a free member you are limited in several different ways, such as download-limit and time. As a paid member you have full access with no boundaries whatsoever. You can get a one-month membership for 7 EUR. One thing which is annoying about Rapid Share is that they don’t offer a search option. However, there are different ways to get around this, and get the full value of your membership.

There are several different pages which allow you to do direct searches. One of them is link.io. This is in my opponion the best one.

link.io is a catalog of materials, hosted on several servers of several one click file hosters such as rapidshare.com or oxedion.com. Aim of this project is to gather links spread all over the net in one single place and to structurize them in a user-friendly way. All links get checked (if valid, for duplicate entries, etc) to make everything even more comfortable!

Another way is to do a simple Google search for: example “rapidshare.com/files”.
Tech-Recipes offer some others ways to search directly on Google. You can find them here. They also have a technique to beat rapidshare’s time limits, if you don’t feel like paying for a membership. With this information, a paid membership is definitely worth it’s price.

[…] I rank as nr. 7 on Google, but I am not sure why? Some time ago I wrote a post about Rapid share. You can find the post here: http://www.jakobdk.com/how-to-search-rapid-share/ Now according to Kewword elite, I rank as number 5 when you do a search on google for rapid share. When I do a search on google myself, I rank as nr. 7. I would really like to know why I got such a good place on this word. rapid share is used in the ulr, in the title, as a link, and repeted 2 times in the post. Then rapidshare (without spare) is used two times as well. Is this just the magic numbers for getting a good place, or have I done anything special which I just have not realized yet? Anyone.. […]
