Clean Archive Plug-in

Not long ago, PayPerPost and ReviewMe were the hot topics in the blogsphere. Eventhough my blog only had a page rank of 0 (which unfortunately has not changed so far) and a Technorati rank close to 300.000, the job offerings from either one of these companies, would probably be very limited. However I still decided to sign up at PayPerPost and give it a shot. A few days later I got an email, telling me my blog was not accepted because of my Archive link, which was not set up in a proper way, according to their requirements. Actually I did not give it much thought until yesterday, when I stumbled upon Daniels Scocco´s Blog Daily Blog Tips. He has a new post called Best Wordpress Plugins: Clean Archives. So I decided to download it and give it a try. So I went to Shawn Grimes Blog called sporadic nonsense (The creator of the plug-in) to download it along with an instruction on how to use it. Everything went fairly smooth, and I am very satisfied with the final result, which you can see here.

How to:
Go to sporadic nonsense and download the file. Unzip it and upload the srg_clean_archives.php file to your /wp-content/plugins/ folder. Also make sure you have the file archives.php in your theme directory. Go to the admin panel, plugins, and activate the SRG Clean Archives. Then go to the Write page, and name your archive in the page title field. Leave the page content blank. Go to the sidebar and open Page Template. Choose Archives from the dropdown menu. Download the archives.php file from your wp-content/themes/themename/ folder. Put this line of code:

<?php srg_clean_archives(); ?>

into the archives.php file, and modify the rest of the code to get the look you want. Upload the file and you will be done.
