About Me

My name is Jakob Dupont Knudsen. I am a guy in the mid twenties, from Copenhagen, Denmark. This is my first attempt to make a blog. Ever since I started this blog, I have been reading a lot of different blogs, entertaining, personal, and educational. One thing every blogger seems to agree upon is that in order for a person to have a successful blog, he must commit it to one niche and stick with it. This will give his audience a clear idea of what they can expect, thus much more likely they will return. There are a lot of good arguments to do this.

However, this is not what I wanted. So I decided to be indifferent on this point, and live with that fact that I might not have as many visitors as I could, if I was working on one single topic. However, I would get myself a blog where I can write about anything I feel like, whenever I feel like it. And that is exactly what Jakobdk.com is. A blog about anything I feel like sharing. You will find several different topics such as magic, Capoeira, innovation & invention, Search Engine Optimization, blogging and stuff related to wordpress.

The Blog About Nothing Specific

What is the reason for this? Simply, because I do this for the enjoyment, and not because of the money I earn from AdSense, kontera etc. I like to write about anything I feel like, and hopefully get some feedback. Earning money from contextual advertising is a great bonus, but not the main reason why I have this blog. I hope you will find something interesting here.
